The Announcement  of the Turkish Proficiency Exam
 
Karabük University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Centre will hold the Turkish Language Proficiency Exam on the dates specified in the exam timetable.

A minimum score of 60 is required to pass the Turkish Proficiency Exam.
 
A student who does not achieve at least 60 points in each of the four skills (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) will be deemed to have failed, even if their total point is 60 or above.


The documents required to register for the Turkish Proficiency Exam are listed below:

Attachments:
1. A photocopy of your passport or identity card
2. Student certificate (required only for students enrolled at Karabük University)
3. Bank receipt confirming payment of the exam fee*
 
* The students taking the exam must include their full name and ‘TYS fee’ in the description field of the bank transfer.

* The Turkish Proficiency Exam fee is 3,500 TRY.
 
* Payment must be made into the account of Karabük University Directorate of Revolving Fund, account number TR50 0001 0004 2597 8269 6750 01.

* You may make the payment at a branch or via online banking. Payments cannot be made via an ATM.


* Fees paid for exam registration are non-refundable.
 
(Students applying for the Turkish Language Proficiency Exam from outside Karabük may either scan or photograph the required documents and email them to our centre at tomer@karabuk.edu.tr.)
 
(Students sitting the exam must bring their student ID, identity card or passport with them. They must also bring a pencil and an eraser for the exam. Ballpoint pens are strictly prohibited during the exam.)
