Karabük University TÖMER was established on 24 September 2014 under the name Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Centre (KBÜ TÖMER) with the aim of teaching Turkish to foreigners and introducing Turkey and Turkish culture. Our centre, which increases its capacity and expands its service area every year, also carries out work with institutions such as the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities and the Yunus Emre Institute. International students who come to Karabük University TÖMER to study Turkish language preparation courses are eligible to receive a Turkish language proficiency certificate after completing their language education, which consists of beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Students who complete their Turkish language preparation can easily continue their university education with their Turkish language skills.
